Sarah Mills, Vivazu President and Chief Consultant, is an award-winning communications professional experienced in helping companies manage transitions, and engage their employees and clients. Sarah has delivered communications programs and services to a breadth of organizations and industries including global media companies, entrepreneurial technology firms, manufacturing businesses, nonprofit organizations and government.

As VP of Corporate Affairs & Communications at Discovery Communications, Sarah led the 2008 PR Week Large Corporate Communications Team of the Year during a time of major transition for the company including new leadership, rebranding and launch of television networks, greening of the company, asset divestitures, RIFs and restructurings, major acquisitions, a joint venture with Oprah Winfrey, a high-profile professional sports sponsorship, and global business growth. She has helped both large and small companies be recognized for being a Best Place to Work (Fortune, Working Mother, Washingtonian, and others), and she has deep expertise in brand design, digital media, corporate social responsibility and technology integration from her experience providing services to industry, nonprofits and government in the US and abroad, including to businesses in Asia, Europe and North Africa.

Sarah holds an MBA from Shenandoah University, and a BA in political science from George Mason University. She is a member of IABC, an advisor to organizations including the Alliance for Workplace Excellence and the Executive Women's Roundtable, a graduate of Leadership Fairfax, and a board member of Volunteer Fairfax.
